Callas / Hard Skin

Remove calluses and treat deep fissures (cracks) in your heel area and give advice on follow up treatment.

Ingrown Toenail

Remove the ingrown part of the toenail with little discomfort. I am trained in cosmetic nail reconstruction with PediSafe.

Fungal Nail

I offer the Lacuna method making micro holes in the nail plate to allow an anti-fungal medicine to reach the infection.

Corns

Corns are extremely uncomfortable and painful. I can enucleate corns and offload the area to provide comfort.

Verrucae

There are many types of verrucae. We provide a range of treatments including Verrutop with excellent results.

Athlete’s Foot

Treat and resolve this fungal infection of the feet and provide advice on ongoing treatment.

Diabetic Feet

Diabetic clients should be under the care of their GP for yearly foot checks. I offer diabetic foot health checks to reduce the risk of ulcers.

Nail Reconstruction

The product made by Fanair contains antifungal and antibacterial properties which encourages healthy nails. Nail reconstruction is a great treatment for unsightly nails and can give a client the confidence to show their feet off whilst wearing open sandals

A typical footcare session would include the following:

  • A full assessment of your feet, including taking medical details
  • Trimming and filing of toe nails
  • Reducing any thickened toe nails
  • Debriding callus
  • Enucleating any corns (hard corns, soft corns and seed corns)
  • Cleansing the foot with skin disinfectant pre, during and post treatment
  • Dressing and padding if required
  • Foot massage with professional foot care cream suitable for your skin condition
  • Advice on footwear and maintaining your foot care in between appointments
  • And, most importantly a friendly face and a good old chinwag!
